who are you....really?

In other words, who are you when you stop working?
When you are not in parent/husband/wife/sister/caregiver role?

What do you want - really want?

NLP is a philosophy of life, a way of thinking, a collection of techniques designed to get you ‘unstuck’ to move forward in life with ease, confidence and surety - just the way it is meant to be. The world around you will suddenly appear differently once you decide to let go of thinking patterns which are no longer useful to you. In fact, chances are they never were useful, they were simply taught or passed down to as an inherited way of perceiving ‘reality’. What is YOUR reality? What are your hopes and ambitions without prejudice or influence

If you are seeking change in your life, consider “What is the difference that makes the difference?” Neuro Linguistic Programming pays attention to the different neurological levels at which we operate in

Identity - Who you are, eg wife, son, sales rep, friend etc
Beliefs and Values - Whether it is possible/worth it
Capability - How you do it - skills
Behaviour- What you do
Environment- Where/When you do it

If you are seeking change in your life, consider more than just what to do but check also who you are capable of being!!!!

Excellent question!

I was downsized in 1997 and was devastated because I was so used to knowing who I was according to my job. When that was taken away, I was lost for awhile. Then I realized that I am who I am, not what I do.

Hi Yvette

Brilliant post, and YES, what a great question - who are we all, really! Thought provoking - and your writing talks to me (being auditory!) It touches me to see what a wondeful grasp you have of the material x

And that last sentence would be a V/K Synaesthesia!
